The Mystery of Bazaar's Ruins

Rules of the Event

Following my recent post, I decided to launch a community event dedicated to finding the way out of Bazaar to the Ancient Ruins and two other places on the map, in the form of challenges. The first person to post a video of him or her going from Bazaar's AA to a challenge's destination point in the offline Exploration Mode claims the prize.

There will be three challenges of the kind; each consecutive challenge is more difficult, with a bigger prize, as compared to the previous one. The second challenge will be posted after the winner for the first challenge is decided, and the third challenge will be posted after the winner for the second challenge is decided.

I will be posting hints as to how to get to the destination point every 12 hours (give or take), in the form of diary entries by a deployed cyber-explorer. At first, I'll be giving vague and uninformative hints, but later on I'll proceed with more specific and useful hints.

The MC prizes are provided by Hughes and ZamboniChaos, and the books are courtesy of Houruck. Meteor credits will be transferred directly to the winners' accounts, which means they are not MC codes. The books are to be sent via snailmail.

Because I am a member of Vodka People, the entire clan is banned from the event, lest I be accused of rigging it.

Bonus Challenge: Cleaning the Hive [unsolved!]

Description

A swarm of gigantic arachnids attacks and ravages the Sentium command center in Brosos. Ferocious insectoid species, they are led by their mastermind, the Brain Bug. The swarm kills, eats and mummifies the officers, leaving no one alive, and makes the command center into their hive.

You, a team of elite soldiers, are commanded to kill the arachnids, capture the Brain Bug and recover the command center.

Well, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Diary entry #1

Our unit has been assigned to deploy in Brosos, this old, rusty terraforming hub with nothing but sand and mech wrecks around. Well, that and few rickety structures. The mission is to locate the rumored deposit of exotic-type vitrolium. It is believed to be a B.065-class supersolid capable of stabilizing in unique conditions predicted to exist somewhere near the city.

Or so they say.

What is this thing anyway_ The rumor has it, a handful of this substance is worth a fortune! But... does it even exist_ I've spent countless hours trying to find any data on it, ever since I overheard Colonel Jackson, but I found nothing, not even classified files. The brass won't share any details, and the serge said he knows as much as we do. The guys seem excited, but I have a hunch: something's really fishy here, something's really off. There's just too much secrecy surrounding this mission. Do they really want us to locate this elusive material, or is it something else that they want from us_

I'll follow the orders, of course, but I need to stay alert. Things can go awry any moment.

I won't be participating, but I went and looked around anyway, only to find that all my old methods of exploration on this map got blocked off/fixed/changed, so I'll be interested in seeing how this is done!

Since I couldn't get there legitimately, I just flew over in spectator mode to make myself feel nice.

We were trying to climb the antennae at the Sentium side base. There is a small peg there that if you place a blockade in the right location, you can jump up to the top. We got very close to crossing over the blue barrier but the air height cap dropped us before we made it.

This reminds me of electrifiying all (playable area delimiters) E-walls (on their top) for every map in the game.
